PC-3(Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer), containing polycarboxylic ether copolymer, is the new generation of the high performance water reducer.

The product has its excellent performance for the slump retention and water reducing. PC-3, free of chloride complies with The China Standard for Concrete Admixture of GB8076-2008 and U.S. Standard of ASTM C94 Type F, as well as the EU Standard of EN934-2 T3.1/3.2.

PC-3 is compatible with all types of Portland cement which are complying with the international standards. The difference between PC-3 and the traditional high range water reducer is that PC-3 is based on its unique side chain polycarboxylic ether copolymer. Therefore, it enhances the dispersion of cement greatly. Furthermore, the copolymer has the effect of slow-release with prolonged time of slump retention and no delayed setting.

Dosage

The dosage for PC-3 depends on the ratio design, surrounding environment, required amount for water reducing and workability. The regular dosage for PC-3 is 100-500g for each 100kg of cementing materials ingredients. The dosage depends on its specific working condition. The trial mix should be made with the materials on site to meet with the requirements for the project and optimize the dosage. When using, PC-3 will be diluted with the density of 10%-20%.
